Robot just declared chapter 11 bankruptcy. And though it’s being bought out, it’s hard to tell what that means for Roomba owners.

If you’ve ever thought about getting a robot vacuum but didn’t want to spend “flagship money,” this is the kind of deal that makes it a lot easier to say yes. The iRobot Roomba 105 Vac Robot Vacuum is currently $149.

Robot vacuum Roomba's parent company is filing for bankruptcy after cash struggles and a failed acquisition by Amazon Roomba's parent company, iRobot, said it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The vacuum cleaner manufacturer will be acquired by its main lender, Picea.
